Squeaky wheels, communication, speed. When those three components come together in the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, this only means one thing: it's wheelchair basketball time at Clifton Campus. Twice a week, disabled and able-bodied students from the University of Nottingham Trent gather for a moment of fun and sharing. We spoke to Robert Bayliss (social coach), Adedayo Dada (president) and Myles Richardson (treasurer), questioning them about the essence of wheelchair basketball, about the rivalry with the University of Nottingham and why everyone should give this sport a go.

Très peu reconnu par le monde du sport, le twirling possède pourtant tous les atouts pour attirer le grand public. Des sourires charmeurs et de l'élégance sont toujours au rendez-vous. A seulement 18 ans, Melina Häsler, jeune twirleuse du Twirling Club d'Hégenheim, est championne du monde et double championne d'Europe dans ses deux disciplines phares : le pompon et les bannières. C'est la « récompense à la fin de tout ce travail », affirme-t-elle modestement. Dans une interview exclusive accordée à L'Union du Sport, Melina Häsler nous présente son sport et revient sur ses moments forts vécus avec le Twirling Club d'Hégenheim.
